In Memory

David Watts

David was born and raised in Marin County, California. He lived the remainder of his days in beautiful Sonoma County. He is survived by his loving daughter Nicole, his family and friends. David had a zest for life, with his intelligence and quick wit he always made people laugh. He was an avid weight lifter who was known by many as a trainer and mentor. There are many gyms in Santa Rosa and Windsor where his presence will be greatly missed. There was nothing he loved more than watching his daughter play soccer and of course, good food and waterskiing. His favorite place to be was Lake Pillsbury where he was always available to take everyone out on the boat for fun rides and tubing. He had a huge heart and his family will miss him greatly, a father and a friend who was taken too soon. There will be a celebration of his life at Lake Pillsbury for family and friends in the Spring. He is loved and will forever be in our hearts. "Courage is never to let your actions be influenced by your fears." .

Sorry to hear about Dave, he was a good friend of mine.  From as far back as grade school.  I loved going to Lake Pillsbury with Dave.  He was great water skier.  I will miss him.  My deepest condolences to his family.

I started hanging around with Dave our senior year, then spent a lot of time with him the next three years after I moved up to Sacramento. We had a great time doing some pretty crazy stuff. Dave had a pretty hard exterior but once you really got to know him and break him down he was really a kind a hearted guy. Had not spoken with him for years, but the other day I heard someone at work that had a voice that sounded exactly like Dave. That night I went out online and googled his name and his obituary came up...really strange. He was a skinny guy back in high school, looks like he bulked up with a lot of weightlifting......RIP Dave.....hope you were able to race your 67 GTX to heaven!
