Kay was my first girlfriend...And she was my first kiss ever...I remember riding home on my stin-gray after that afternoon, elated at having shared real kiss, and although it felt wierd and I wasn't sure we did it right, I knew that it was still something special even though we were only 11 at the time. I also rember calling my pal Matt Hughes to tell him I had a girlfriend. Alas our relationship didn't last long, Kay called several days later to say that her mom said she was too young to have a boyfriend, or at least that was what she told me at the time....I was crushed....well for a little while any way.

Still I will always remember that day in 1971....Thank you Kay

I was saddened to hear about this for the first time now a year later. I still remember the days in Mrs. Wyatt's class and how sweet Kay was to everone who knew her.
