I moved to Santa Barbara to attend UCSB in 78. Began working in restaurants to pay tuition and discovered my calling as a pastry chef. I also met Scott in SB. We moved to Sun Valley Idaho to open a restaurant and raise our kids in the mountains.We have two daughters and have had a good life in the northern Rockies. The restaurant is a local's favorite and we have been open for 17 years now. We have had some national press with coverage in USA today and a CNN travel spot. I have been lucky to travel and have spent time in Europe, the South Pacific, and this June I am going to Thailand. In addition to my own two girls, I have hosted six exchange students over the years and hope to live abroad myself some year in the future. I am on the board of Habitat for Humanity in Idaho and this summer we are building our first home in this area.I spend as much time as possible outdoors enjoying the cross country skiing, biking and hiking that this part of the world offers. I am looking forward to the next chapter of my life as the kids leave home for college!!
