Laurie such a great friend. We swam, acted silly and talked about boys endlessly. Laurie was the person who invited me to church the first time. My mom told me when she died. I am still sorry for her loss. My love to her family and friends. Cyndie Bernat Amerson
Laurie was my first friend upon moving to Marin in 1964. She and I attended preschool together as 4 years olds! Our birthdays were just 10 days apart and we loved to celebrate them with each other. We were always together at Mary Silveira, Miller Creek and T.L., of course. I have memories of swimming at her house and playing with her dog Beanie. She was a sweet, kind friend, and I miss her dearly.
I actually had a huge crush on Laura. I remember her as being very kind, very sweet (although I don't think she really knew I existed). It is very sad to hear of her passing. My heart goes out to her family.

I went to elementary school with Laurie at Mary E. Silveria. Everyone always wanted to brush her hair. She had beautiful long blonde hair. She was such a sweet person. She let everyone brush her hair that wanted to. We must have been annoying!
